Helpful hints
- Most brands of almond milk contain added calcium. If you are on a low calcium diet this recipe may not be a good choice. You can substitute Homemade Almond Milk or look for a brand without added calcium.
- Chia seeds are high in phosphorus, contributing to the 200 mg phosphorus in each serving of pudding. It is estimated only 40-60% of the phosphorus in whole grains, legumes, nuts and seeds is available for absorption. Check with your dietitian before including Chia Pudding with Berries in your diet.Â
